Finally I get to have the UK Premiere of ‘Watching Water’! It’s slowly dawning on me that these things take time. I had thought you finish a film, people see it and a month later that’s that! Apparently not.

But what I once saw as frustrating I now see as a pleasure. To be able to enjoy watching other people’s reactions is what all those months, in fact now years, of hard work were for.

Nick Cheshire owner of Wittering Surf Shop has pretty much taken this whole event and run with it, coming up with some amazing ideas for the night and kindly sponsoring the event, along with some strings he is busy pulling as we speak. I think there’s something really special about holding it on the South Coast too, I’d love to screen the film in Cornwall at some point but having the premiere here feels right somehow. A good way to dust off the winter chills this looks like it will be a fun night for sure.
